    • MRS. WALTER AGNEW OF SULLIVAN, DEAD

      Passed Away on Wednesday at Age of 66

      CHESLEY, Nov. 23-The death of Mrs. Walter Agnew. 10th Con.. as Sullivan township, occurred Wednesday at the age of sixty-six years. Mrs. Agnew had been illl for four weeks, following an attack of paralysis on the right side. She was born in Waterloo County but came to Sullivan township in early infancy. She is survived by her husband, three sons, and two daughters. The sons are William at home, Joseph of 6th Con., Elderslie, and George of Pittsburg, U. S. The daughters are, Mrs. Hy. Knapp of Sullivan, and Mrs. Orrin McClure of Pittsburg.

      The funeral takes place on Friday at 1.30 p.m. The service will be conducted by the United Church minister from Peabody, and interment is to be in Chesley cemetery. The Agnew homestead is particularly well known to the people of the district, as for some years the annual church garden-party for Peabody has been held there.
