  Vollmer, Leslie Edwin 1922-2012 Passed away peacefully on July 27, 2012 at the age of 89. Son of the late Edwin and Rosina(Querin) Predeceased by step son John Rolfe and wife Betty Benedict (1984) brothers Gerald Vollmer, Aylmer Vollmer, Bruce Vollmer and sisters Esther (Mickey) Voll, Verna (Archie) Sherriffs, and Elaine (Bob) Furlong. He is forever enshrined in the memories of brother Derril (Ruth) Vollmer, sister-in-law Darlene (Vollmer) Haines. He leaves behind step-daughter Linda (Gary) Evans, and loving grand-daughter Kelly (Kerry) Pasco, the apple of his eye, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Les operated a gravel trucking business in Brampton for many years prior to his retirement. He touched us all in a very extraordinary way and is now gone but not forgotten. Visitation will be at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, Ontario N2G 1C7 on Tuesday July 31, 2012 from 11am.- 1 pm. Service to follow in the funeral home Chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
