- WALKER, Lewis Gerald - (Canadian Veteran of the Second World War who flew for the RAF). Suddenly, on Monday, December 11, 2006, in his 89th year. Gerry of Georgetown, formerly of Waterloo, survived by his loving wife, Edna for over 61 years. Father of Diane (Richard) Wagner of Georgetown, Nancy (Murray) Wiegand of Winnipeg. Grandfather to Karl (Danielle) and Raymond (Amber) of Winnipeg and Robert of Georgetown. He will be missed by brothers, Elton (Margaret), John (Rolande), James (Joan) and sisters, Anne, Muriel (Doug), Doris, Florence (Cliff) and Ruth (Bill) and sister-in-law, Velma. Predeceased by sister, Letta and brothers, Ivan, Hector and Carl. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 18, at 11 a.m. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.
