  Former Resident Dead Miss Grace Stein, a former resident of Elmira for twenty years, passed away at Stratford hospital following an operation. Mr. Levi Stein, her father, was employed at Elmira with the C.N.R. until the battery car was installed. Waterloo Chronicle, April 2, 1925 _____________ GRACE STEIN BURIED HERE REMAINS BRUOGHT HERE FROM STRATFORD FOR INTERMENT Her many Elmira friends were surprised to hear, last Thursday, of the passing away of Miss Grace Stein, who died at Stratford hospital, while undergoing an operation. The deceased lived in Elmira for about twenty years and had removed with her father to Stratford a few months ago when Mr. Stein lost his job here owing to the installation of the battery car on the C.N.R. Though an invalid for many years, Miss Stein took a keen interest in church and secular matters. Her remains were brought to the Methodist church by motor hearse on Sunday. After a funeral service conducted by Rev. C. E. Cole Interment took place in the Union Cemetery, where Miss Stein's mother was buried some seven years ago. The deceased leaves her father, Mr. Levi Stein, and other more distant relatives.
