  PENHORWOOD, Loretta "Laurie" After a long fight with cancer, on Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, at her home, in Cambridge, in her 57th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Kenneth Penhorwood; dear mother of Gerald and his wife Nancy, Kevin and his wife Dianna and Stephen and his friend Karen; loving grandmother to Zachary, Krystal and Dakota. Daughter of the late Catherine and Harry Peel. Sister to Michael and his wife Chris Peel, Robert and his wife Claudia Peel, Linda and her husband John Green. Laurie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cathy, Mike and Christopher Green and Tara and Robin Peel. Sister-in-law to Bruce and Dianna Penhorwood, Phillis Laoalle, Barry McLoon and his late wife Joyce. I wish to thank everyone for all the support we received during Laurie's illness, including family and friends, all the community services, the staff at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the Cancer Center in Hamilton, the Henderson Civic Hospital in Hamilton and a special thanks to the staff of St. Ambrose School, for all the support. The family will receive friends at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, today (Wednesday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish rosary will be recited this evening (Wednesday), at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated from St. Ambrose RC Church on Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
