  LORNE ORVILLE SCHLEMMER A former New Hamburg resident, Lorne Orville Schlemmer of 530 Brunswick Street, Stratford, died on Monday, October 21 as a result of injuries received when a tank truck he was driving smashed into the side of a CNR passenger train at a crossing in South Easthope Township. Mr. Schlemmer was a native of East Zorra Township. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Zoeller, two sons, Paul and David, both of Stratford, and one stepbrother. Howard Hesse of New Hamburg. Funeral services were held at the Heinbuck Funeral Home. Stratford, at 2 p.m. last Wednesday. Burial took place in Avondale cemetery. New Hamburg Independent
