- Louis K. Lichty, 68, of 119 Albert St., Waterloo, died Sunday at K-W Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Lichty was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lichty and resided in the Twin Cities for more than 50 years.
He was employed at Greb Industries Ltd. for many years. Surviving are his wife, the former Sarah Mank; one son, Robert L. Lichty, Kitchener; on daughter, Mrs. Robert (Alice) Ashford, Haileybury; five brothers, Christian, Barrie, and David, Waterloo and Emmerson, William and Delton of Kitchener; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Marshall, Mrs. Leah Harper and Mrs. Clarence (Vera) Yaeck, all of Kitchener and Mrs. James (Magdalena) Stevens, Waterloo, and one granddaughter.
He was predeceased by one brother and a sister.
The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Wednesday when removal will be made to Kingwood Reformed Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Aaron Yost. Burial will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
