  Louisa was a daughter of Johann Christian Friedrich "Fritz" Begerow and Maria Magdalena Dorothea Rummel. She sailed from Hamburg, Germany on the ship "Southerner" and arrived at New York City with her father and step-mother and four siblings on September 2, 1852. They settled at Killean in Puslinch Township, Wellington County, Ontario, where her father farmed and kept a tavern. On November 13, 1859 in Waterloo County she was married to Carl "Charles" Hadler. They lived in Preston In Waterloo County, Ontario for a while then migrated to the United States, finally settling in Brockport near the Erie Canal in Monroe County, New York. Her husband was a mason. They had one child together: Mary A. Hadler, who married Frederick Meinhardt. After Carl died, Louise lived with her daughter's family in Brockport. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/249033227 _____________________ OBITUARY The death of Mrs. Louise Hadler occurred at the home of her daughter Mrs. Fred Meinhardt on Kenyon St., Tuesday noon after a serious illness of about two weeks duration. Mrs. Hadler was born in Nuxenburg. Germany, 74 years ago, the daughter of Christian and Mary Begerow. With them she came to Canada when she was about 13 years old. In 1859 she was married at Preston. Ont., to Charles Hadler. After their marriage they resided in Louisville, Kentucky, for a short time but most of their married life was spent in this village. Since the death of her husband about eight years ago she has made her home with her only child, Mrs. Fred Meinhardt. One brother, Augustus Begerow of Branchton, Ont., and a half sister, Mrs. David Aldright of Hamilton, Ont., survive her. Brockport Republic, May 29, 1913
