  WENDELL, Lucinda On Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1983, at K-W Hospital, Lucinda Wendell, age 90 years, of 177 Cornwall St., Waterloo. Daughter of the late George Herbst and Wilhelmine Huth. She was born in Normanby township on March 7, 1893; a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Predeceased by her husband, Herman Wendell in May, 1959. Mother of Roy and his wife Betty of Waterloo, Robert of Dartmouth, N.S. and Helen (Mrs. Ed Wilkie) of RR 1, Nobel; sister of Laura (Mrs. William Marth) of Milverton. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by one brother, Rev. George Herbst and four sisters, Frieda (Mrs. C. Ruppenthal), Emma (Mrs. Herb Koch), Elizabeth (Mrs. Fred Foell) and Anne (Mrs. Edward Davidson), who died on Sunday, Aug. 28, 1983. Mrs. Wendell's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo after 7 p.m. this evening until noon Thursday, then to Holy Cross Lutheran Church for funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. Lloyd E. Wentzlaff officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the Lutheran Hour or Holy Cross Lutheran Schmitt Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
