      The death of Louis K. Weber, 95, of Hawkesville, occurred at the K-W Hospital Annex Thursday, following an Illness of two years.

      The son of the late Ludwig Weber and Philipina Klinck, he was born in Bavaria, Germany, May 12, 1851, and came to Canada 89 years ago. Mr. Weber settled near Elmira with his parents and resided there until his marriage to Matilda Lackner, March 19, 1879. He then moved near Clifford where he farmed for six years and then took up residence In the Hawkesville district where he farmed for 30 years. He retired to Hawkesville 28 years ago. His wife predeceased him 30 years ago.

      Surviving are one daughter, Adell, Hawkesville; one brother, Dr. Harry Weber, Portland, Ore., and one sister, Miss Kate Weber, Kitchener. Also surviving are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sons and four daughters predeceased him.

      The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock from the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home in Kitchener. Interment was made at the Hillside Cemetery, Hawkesville. Rev. F. Nuhn officiated.
