• Notes

  His funeral was held at St. Peter and he was a charter member when St. Peter was created in 1882. His death cert. states his name as Louis Kreger and he is buried in Macomb Cemetery, one of many names for St. Peter at the time. He has no headstone but a handwritten note about the charter members state he is "just north of Christian Schoof". There are two empty spaces "just north" of Mr. Schoof so he is probably in one of them. His parents are listed as Chas. Jno. and Mary Kreger b. in Germany. He was married at the age of 28 and at time of death he was married and the parent of 5 children of whom 5 were still living. Ancestry.com has his baptism record - parents Johann and Maria Krüger on March 25, in Serrahn, Mecklenburg. Many thanks for findagraver KLSchwark who has found all five of his children and his wife.
