  MRS. MELINDA SHELLY A highly respected resident of Troy, Ont., died yesterday morning, at her residence, 4th concession, Beverly township, in the person of Mrs. Melinda Shelly, wife of Daniel Shelly. Mrs. Shelly was born in Troy 51 years ago, and had resided there all her life. She was member of Troy Methodist church, where she took an active part in all church societies. A host of friends will regret her death. Surviving besides her husband are one son, Lorne at home, one daughter, Mrs. James Stewart, Rockton; and three brothers, Marshall, Samuel and Mayard Jones, all of this city. The funeral will take place from her residence, on Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock, to Troy cemetery. The Hamilton Spectator, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Monday, April 21, 1924
