- Mamie Helen Brandt, died at Toronto, on Tuesday. August 27. 1968 after a short illness She was the former Mamie Helen Zarnke, beloved wife of the late A R. (Bob) Brandt. who predeceased her in 1963. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Fred Zarnke of Kitchener, sister of Carl H. Zarnke, New Hamburg. Gail Mrs. Donald Foell of Waterloo: John and Robert Wilde of Toronto, sister-in-law of Mrs Gladys A. Morden, Elmira, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter 1. Wilde. Toronto. Mrs. Brandt was a native of Kitchener, and had lived In Elmira.
She was an active member of the Elmira Red Cross Society, and the Toronto Cripplee Children Society. The body rested at the "Danforth Chapel of McDougal & Brown. Toronto, then to Ratz Betchel Funeral Home. Kitchener. Service was conducted by the Anglican clergyman, Rev. D.B. Madge of Elmira and Waterloo, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel. Interment at Elmira cemetery.
