      Marguerite Eileen Knipfel passed away peacefully in her 91st year with her daughters by her side. Loving mother of Karen Stemphlet of Kitchener, and Beth (Rob) of Guelph. Cherished grandmother to Gabrielle, Cameron and Olivia. She is survived by her sister Lauraine Beemer, along with loving nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her parents John and Edna (Haugh) Schmidt and brothers Delton, Ken and Bill and sisters, Dorothy, Grace and Mabel. Marguerite was a woman of strong faith and a long-time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kitchener.
      Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Marguerite with her family during memorial visitation Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 11:00am - 1:15pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Funeral Service at 1:30pm, Rev. Roger Winger officiating with reception to follow. Interment at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Mannheim.
      A special thanks to Donna Lowery of the Heart and Stroke Clinic at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener; Dr. Scullion and the staff of Guelph General Hospital and to the caring, compassionate caregivers at Wellington Hospice.
