  RAU, Margaret C. - Of Rochester Hills, Michigan and formerly of West Branch, died suddenly, on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the age of 84. Margaret was born in Maryhill. Margaret attended Mount Carmel School of Nursing, receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked in hospitals and doctor's offices for 40 years and finally retired from GM Truck and Bus. She devoted her life to helping others, she will be remembered for her many kindnesses, her generous heart and will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her birth parents, William and Bridgette Zinger; her beloved guardian/adoptive mother, Emma Rau and her step-sister, Florence Rau; her brothers, Edward and Alfred Zinger and sister, Madeline Dietrich. Loving sister of Mary (the late Carl) Kraehn and Wilfred (the late Grace) Zinger. Sister-in law of Dorothy and Helen Zinger. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins both from Canada and the United States who will dearly miss her. Parish prayers were recited on August 30th at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. S., Kitchener. Mass of Christian Burial took place on Friday, August 31, 2007 at St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill with Father Ronald Voisin PP officiating. Interment St. Boniface RC Cemetery, Maryhill.
