  BROOME, Marguerite Stewart At K-W Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 14, 1983, in her 83rd year, the former Marguerite Paul, of 190 Lester St., Waterloo. Wife of the late Dr. Albert Broome, who predeceased her in 1962. Marguerite was very active in community affairs, serving with the K-W Art Gallery, the Canadian Red Cross, the Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate School Board and the Doon Pioneer Museum of which Dr. Albert Broome was one of the founders. Mother of Dr. Thomas Paul Broome of Victoria, B.C.; grandmother of David Stewart Broome. Predeceased by four brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., after 7 p.m. tonight. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m., Rev. Robert Schroeder of Holy Trinity Anglican Church officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
