  BLACK, Marjorie Gladys Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital, Brantford on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in her 81st year. Beloved mother of John Robert and his wife Caprice of Hudson, Ohio, Lorie Vonk and her husband Arie of Brantford. Loving grandmother of Jade, Royan, Shannon, Courtney, Eric and Emily. Predeceased by her husband Robert George Black, her parents Henry and Emily Martin, brother John Martin and 2 sisters Florence Currie, and Betty Cross. Mrs. Black was born in Preston, on December 31, 1929 and has lived most of her life in the Cambridge area. She was a retired employee of Canadian Tire and a very active member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation (c/o Marjorie Black) would be appreciated by the family.
