  Mrs. George Jacques By Record Correspondent PRESTON, Oct. 17. Mrs. George Jacques, 352 Margaret St., Preston, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Winkler, 35 Cedar St. North, Kitchener, last night. She was 54 and had been ill since spring. Resident of Preston for the past 35 years she was well known in the community. Born in Wingham she resided there until coming here 35 years ago. Rev. F. C. Miller of St. Paul's United Church will officiate the funeral. Surviving is her husband, George M. Jacques; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Yvonne) Winkler, Kitchener; four sons, John Preston, George of Galt and Robert and William at home; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Ward of Toronto, and two brothers, Elmer Cartwright wright of Toronto and Thomas Cartwright of Southampton. Two grandchildren also survive. A daughter, Janet, predeceased her in 1920, and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Olive) Kummer predeceased her 18 months ago. The body is at the Stager-Pass Ltd., Funeral Home, Preston, where the funeral will be held Friday at 2:30p.m. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
