- Mrs. William Mead
Wife of a well known Kitchener florist, Mrs. William Mead, Centreville, died early on Saturday at K.-W. Hospital, in her 48th year. She was born in New York City and lived in Kitchener for the past 20 years. Mrs. Mead had been in her usual good health until last Wednesday when she was taken suddenly ill and removed to hospital. She was a member of St. John's Anglican church, Brilliant Rebekah, Lodge, Kitchener, and Patrician Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Kitchener.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, William, Kitchener, and James of Sudbury, her mother, Mrs. Fanny Webb of Tofield, Alta., one brother, William Webb of Tofileld, Alta., and a cousin, Miss Eva Carter of the public school teaching staff.
The funeral was held from Lippert-Hunter Funeral Home Monday under the auspices of the Patricia Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and Brilliant Rebekah Lodge with public services at St. John's Anglican church Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
