  Merve Rosell Morris In Loving Memory of Merve Morris October 15, 1958 - May 19, 2025 "Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:21 With heavy hearts and eternal hope in Christ, we announce that Merve Morris was called home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2025. Born on October 15, 1958, Merve lived a life rooted in faith, marked by kindness, and filled with love for God and others. Merve was the beloved husband of Jacqueline, and the treasured father of Thadeane Wells (Brad), Kerina Cantelo (Eric), and Alyssa Morris. He was a devoted Papa to Colton, London, Drayton, Mila, Atlas, and Wren - a guiding light and joyful presence in their lives. He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Michael (Angela), Paul (Debbie), Deverall (Kadian), and Gregory (Debe). He was predeceased by his parents, Lascelles and Florence, and his brother Nicolas. Merve's life was a testament to God's faithfulness. His career in the television industry began at Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation and continued after he immigrated to Canada in 1987. He served with dedication at CKCO Kitchener, CHCH Hamilton, CTV Toronto, and Rogers TV - always with excellence, integrity, and humility. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, wise counsel, deep compassion, and steadfast faith. Merve was a man of prayer and principle who led by quiet example and lived to glorify God in all he did. Merve leaves behind a rich legacy of love, service, and faith. He is dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
