  SCHMIDT, Minnie Arnetta\emdash Passed away, on Monday, September 13, 2004, at the Bonnie Brea Nursing Home, Tavistock. Minnie resided in Stratford and was formerly of New Hamburg. She was born 90 years ago in South Easthope township and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Wilhelm) Schmidt. Minnie was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg, where she was a member of the UCW. Minnie is predeceased by her sisters, Luella and husband Harry Daum, Edna and husband Frank Miller, Lillian and husband George Diamond, Myrtle Schmidt, Helen and husband Milt Lindner; brothers, Aaron ad wife Gertrude Schmidt, Wilfred and wife Helen Schmidt, Eric and wife Cass Schmidt. Minnie will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Thaler officiating. Interment to follow in Lingelbach Cemetery, RR 1, Shakespeare. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Zion United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
