- SNIDER, Lloyd - At Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Friday, April 3, 2009, Mr. Nathan Lloyd Snider, formerly of RR 1, Atwood, in his 104th year. Beloved husband of the late Vera (Groff) Snider. Dear father of Paul and Esther Snider of RR 1, Atwood. Grandfather of Anita and Ken Carter of RR 1, Newton, and Michael and JoAnne Snider of RR 1, Atwood. Great-grandfather of Danielle and Jordan Carter, and Mitchell and Abbi Snider. Brother of Arabelle Wideman, and brother-in-law of Elaine Snider and Reta Groff, all of Cambridge. Also survived by his foster children, Elizabeth and Laverne Martin of Waterloo, and Robert and Bea Davidson of Paisley. Predeceased by his brothers, Roy, Kenard, Elmer, and Clifford Snider, and by his sisters, Irene Musselman and Grace Snider. Visitation will be held at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m., and then at the Eaton Funeral Home , Listowel on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Listowel Mennonite Church on Tuesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. Reverend Fred Lichti officiating. Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Mennonite Central Committee or Fairview Mennonite Home would be appreciated.
