NATHANIEL CLEMENS
The death of a former resident of this district in the person of Nathaniel Unger Clemens look place in Milverton at the home of his sons A. C. Clemens. Saturday, after an illness of only two weeks. He was in his 80th year. Born In Dumfries, he had lived in this district almost all his life he was married In 1874 to Annie Copley at Freeport. For some years he was in the blacksmithing business in New Dundee with Oliver Bergey and John Weber and then bought a business in Neustadt where he lived the greater part of his life. Since retiring from business he has made his home mostly with his son Alvan. Surviving him are two souls. Alvan of Milverton and Alfred of Turtleford, Sask. and one daughter, Alice, of Turtleford. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the residence of Alvan Clemens in Milverton where there will be a short service at 1 16 o'clock, to the United Brethren Church in New Dundee. Interment will be made In New Dundee.
