- Nelson B. Mayer
Nelson (Nellie) B. Mayer, 67 of 1153 King St. East, died Thursday at his home following a lengthy illness. Born May 24, 1887, in St Jacobs, he was a son of the late Adam and Marian Mayer.
A retired machinist, he was a former member of the Waterloo Baseball Club. He was Lutheran
He was married Aug. 15, 1915, in Kitchener. His wife predeceased him.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs Amelia Eckstein and Mrs. Alma Bryden, both of Kitchener.
The body is at the Keffer Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Rev. Dr. John Schmieder will officiate.
