      The death occurred at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, December 3rd, 1992 of Nettie Evelyn Deeton of Bright and formerly of Ayr. She was in her 76th year. Born in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Eddington and Jane Brown. Mrs. Deeton moved from Wolseley to Ayr in 1937 where she married her husband, the late Jack Deeton, in 1939. She has been a longtime member of Knox United Church. She is survived by her son, Cameron and his wife, Vicki of Cochrane, Alberta; her daugher, Marilyn and her husband, David Drewett of England; by her grandchildren, Owen Deeton and his wife, Lori, Marni Deeton and Julie, Nadine, Jason and Greg Drewett; great-grandchildren, Darci Deeton and Ryan Drewett; sisters, Lavina Wilson of St. John, New Brunswick, and Leona Peagam of Belcarris, Saskatchewan. She will be missed by her dear friend, Alec Linton of Bright. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Deeton was predeceased by her brother, George Eddington of Galt and her sister, Mary Bloomfield of Wolseley, Saskatchewan. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel of Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 8, 1992 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Douglas Willis of Selkirk officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery. Honourary pallbearers were Peter McDonald, Irvin Seyler, John Campbell, Don Thomas, James W. Baker and Roy Baker.
