- SWARTZENTRUBER, Nettie M.-On Friday, June 23, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, Nettie Swartzentruber (nee Plate), of Edinburg Road, Kitchener, in her 85th year.
Nettie was a founding member of Reformation Lutheran Church. Dear grandmother of Debbie and her husband Douglas Mullins of Timmins, Patricia and her husband Bruce Winkler, Barbara and her husband John Heide; sister of Veronica Wilinsky and Elsie Pitz, all of Kitchener; great-grandmother of Craig, Chad and Billyjim Mulllins, Jackie, Tracey and Jodi Winkler, Karen, Richard, Daryl and Kim Heide.
Mrs. Swartzentruber was predeceased by her husband, Abner; her son, Douglas; her parents, Henry and Katherina Plate (nee Fries); brothers, Edgar, Harvey, Gordon and Walter Plate; sisters, Gertrude Manske and Dorothy Metler. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel. Interment Memory Gardens cemetery.
