  Nora Taylor - At Park Lane Terrace, Paris, former RR 3, Ayr resident Nora Maud Elizabeth Taylor passed away after a long and happy life on Monday, March 11, 2002. Born in Hamilton she was daughter of the late Hannah Elizabeth Stanhope and Courtney Arthur Gillard. Nora and her husband of 66 years, the late Harold Arthur Taylor (1997) enjoyed their property near Ayr for 65 years. A wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who taught us courage and love of life. Her special handmade Christmas tree ornaments will always keep her memory with us. Most beloved wife for 66 years of the late Harold Taylor (1997). She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Robert and his wife Carol of Kitchener, Carol and her husband Albert Lawson of Ayr, Marilyn and her husband Robert Brown of West Bank, B.C. and daughter-in-law Marion (Taylor) Arms of Paris; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son Douglas (1987); sisters Elsie Winchester and Hannah Cooper; brothers Frank, Arthur and Fred Gillard. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. where memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Fred Hagle of Knox United Church, Ayr officiating.
