- Olympic Gold Medalist (1928 Ice Hockey). Norbert "Stuffy" Mueller was a native of Waterloo, Ontario, which is where he had his junior hockey training. Mueller continued playing through his days at St. Andrews College and the University of Toronto. After school he continued playing goal for the Varsity Grads, backstopping them to an Allan Cup and the opportunity to represent Canada in the 1928 Winter Olympics. The team won the Olympic competition. After the Grads disbanded, "Stuffy" joined the National Sea Fleas, where he led the club to his second Allan Cup championship. Mueller remained active for the rest of his life by playing curling and golf. Professionally, he became an insurance underwriter. Norbert Mueller died of a heart attack in Toronto, Ontario.
