Notes |
- Heimbecher and Jung had a factory on Church St [west] where the Liquor store is now. They manufactured frames for the upholstering industry and a lot of their goods were sent to Waterloo to the Snider Firm. Also at one time we had our own upholstering factory in town where the furniture factory office is now. It was run at that time by Martin Schendler. Ed Schierholtz and they used to employ Walter Hollinger, Norman Hollinger and Fodder Lein, Pete Weinstein, John Thomas, Henry Schmidt & myself & Milton Klinck.
