    • VOEGTLE, Norman (Bud) - At the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home on Sunday, October 17, 2010, Bud Voegtle of Simcoe in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ena Louise Swick for 69 years. Cherished dad to Douglas Voegtle (Ann) of Simcoe, Larry Voegtle (Judy) of Simcoe, Shirley Culver (Doug) of Simcoe and Joan McGregor (Dave) of St. Thomas. Dear "Bump" to Todd, Tammy, Ryan, Tracy, Michelle, Becky, Brad, Kelly and Chad. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and his step-brothers Ted and Terry Fetter.

      Predeceased by his sisters Mary Ludwig (Mike), Evangeline White, Elaine Rick and Vivian Dopp.

      Bud was employed by Caswell Dairy and Beatrice Foods in Simcoe from 1947 to 1984 when he retired. After retirement he enjoyed auctions and antiques. Bud served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War and was a longtime member of the Walsh Baptist Church.

      Friends are invited to call at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Marc Bertrand officiating.
