  Olive Gillespie Long-time Ayr resident, Olive Gertrude Gillespie (nee Sweet), died at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, September 2nd, 2002. She was in her 88th year. Olive was predeceased by her husband, the late Wallace (Wally) Gillespie in 1992; and by her sister, the late Verna Clement in 1942. She is survived by her niece (Verna's daughter), Marion and her husband Wayne Moore of Guelph as well as many other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr, today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5th at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Fred Hagle of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiating.
