With joy, we announce the peaceful homegoing of Olive, on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at her residence, Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Wesley. She was the mother of Gerald (Norma) of Wasaga Beach and Allan (Sharon) of Kitchener. Predeceased by her grandson, Paul. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Mark (Nancy) of Wasaga Beach, David of Kitchener and Dale (Carolyn) of Essex and great-grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Chad, Katie, Jacob, Ben and Elisa. Olive was born near Kingston and has lived, in the Cambridge area for the past 49 years. She worked at Canada Last and Freeport Hospital and was a volunteer at Fairview Mennonite Home in her later years. She was a longtime member of Freedom in Christ Pentecostal Assembly in Kitchener. A private family committal service was held in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Olive's life on, Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Mennonite Home Auditorium.
