    • Oliver W. Stauffer, 78, died Tuesday at his home in Didsbury.

      He was born in Glen Allan, Ont., and moved to west of Didsbury in 1900, where he had farmed since that time.

      Surviving are his wife, Ida; three sons, Ira, Lloyd and Ian, of Didsbury; two daughters, Mrs. Otto Lemke, Acadia Valley; and Mrs. V.J. Schafer of Olds; eight step-children; 21 grandchildren; two brothers, Ezra, in Bridgeport, Ont., and Harvey, in Kitchener, Ont.; and one sister, Mrs. Jacob Schwas, of Port Elgin, Ont. A son, Lester, predeceased him in 1940.
