  ORTON S. DEVITT Orton S. Devitt, 74 of Kitchener, died Friday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He was a former employee of the Canadian Blower and Forge Company. Mr. Devitt was born April 26, 1883, in Wilmot Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron K. Devitt. He had lived in Kitchener for the past 65 years. His wife, the former Elizabath R. Ruppel, predeceased him. Surviving are two sons, Carl of Kitchener and Victor of Brantford; four daughters Miss Myrtle Devitt and Miss Mary Devitt, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Roy G (Catherine) Bauman of Waterloo and Mrs. David (Erma) Hoffer of Elmira; two sisters, Mrs. John Farr of Thistletown and Mrs. Armintha Brown of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The body rested at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. E. E. Hallman, pastor of Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church, Waterloo, officiating.
