  HILDEBRAND, Orville Francis - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at St. Mary's General Hospital, at the age of 88. Orville was born on January 11, 1920 in Seaforth, Ontario. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Ibbotson). Loving father of Janice (Reg) Kutasinski and Arlene (Lloyd) Bauernhuber. Cherished grandpa of Todd (Linda), Tricia (Steve), Karen and Michael (fiancée Annette). Much loved great-grandpa of Derek, Nicole, Wesley and Jakob. Dear brother of Mabel Swartz, Stella Knightly and Glen (Joan) Hildebrand. Brother-in-law of Shirley Ibbotson, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Mary; his son, Alan; his brothers, Gordon and Albert, and his sister, Irene Snider. Orville was a proud employee of Electrohome and a member of the 25 year retiree club. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 530 and a veteran of the Second World War, having served in the Royal Canadian Navy. He will be fondly remembered in the hearts of all those who knew him. A Memorial Service to celebrate Orville's life will be held at Westmount Funeral Chapel , 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road), Kitchener on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 12 noon, with memorial visitation being held an hour prior to service time. The family would like to thank the wonderful nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the care shown to Orville; family physician Dr. Gino Pannozzo and Nurse Pauline for their loving care over the years; Dr. John Campbell for his compassion and advice, and a special thank you to Dr. Nadira Husein for her guidance, support and friendship.
