  Orville R. Shantz ST. GEORGE - Orville R. Shantz, 59, of near St. George, died today after a lingering illness. He was born at Elmira, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Shantz., In 1919 he married Ida Snyder of Elmira and they farmed about one mile from St. George. Surviving are his wife and two sons, Homer of Dundas and Sanford of St. George; one brother, Sylvan, of Elmira and one sister, Mrs. Rueben (Elma ) Shantz of Kitchener and seven grandchildren. One son, Stewart, was killed overseas in 1944. The body is at the Bannister and Glaves Funeral Home, St. George. Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2;30 p.m. from St. George United Church.
