  Long time Ypsilanti Township businessman Ocar E. Ziegler died of a heart attack last night in Kosse, Texas, while visiting relatives. Mr. Ziegler and his son, Oscar H., were owners of the Ziegler Market on Ecorse Rd. since 1946. He later developed the Ziegler Oil Co. Mr. Ziegler was born Dec. 10, 1895, in Kitchener, Ontario, Can. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of American Legion Post 282 and the Barracks No. 35 of World War I. He married Ethel Harper in Hosse, Texas, in 1919. She died Sept. 27, 1955. Surviving in addition to his son are three grandchildren, Patricia Ann, James and Robert; a sister, Mrs. Emma Fowler of Waterloo, Ontario, and a brother, John, of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted from the Geer Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Revs. LeRoy Cabbage and William Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in Flower's Mausoleum at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning tomorrow at 6 p.m.
