  PARSONS, Peter Leslie Born on October 3, 1956, has passed peacefully at Henderson General hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at age 51, of a long battle with cancer. Loving husband of Shelia for 27 years. Peter will be sadly missed by his sons, Edward, Peter Jr and his wife Joan and kids, Pauline and Kelly; Peter's first Granddaughter, Jamie-Lee; his brother, Ed and sister Gail, mother-in-law, Lillian along with many sisters and brothers-in-law. Survived by lots of loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Chesley and. mother, Ada. Peter was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland and made his home in Cambridge for the last many years. Peter was a hard working family man. Peter was an employee of The Cambridge General Towers for 30 years. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the doctors and the third floor nursing staff of Henderson Hospital. Family and friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Followed by a private family service.
