  MRS. RACHEL MCLEOD Mrs. Rachel McLeod passed away at the family home, 1360 Arroyo street, last evening at 7:45 o'clock. after only a week's illness. Mrs. McLeod was born June 18, 1865. in Ontario, Canada. She had lived in Pomona for 42 years, coming here from Canada. Mrs. McLeod is survived by two sons. Norman J., in Holtville, and Roy D., in Pomona; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Ferrell and Mrs. Chas. A. Emery, both of Pomona: four sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth E. Reid, Pomona; Mrs. M. Wagner, Canada; Mrs. M. Wallace. Seattle, Wash... Mrs. W. B. Bradley, Los Angeles: two brothers. William and J. E. Adamson, both of Pomona; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandson. She was a member of the Williams St. Chapel. and the Woman's Community club. She was very active in the Garden Beautiful class and the City Garden club. Funeral services will be held in the Todd & Reeves chapel Thursday at 10 a. m. The Rev. G. E. Marsh of Los Angeles, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Pomona cemetery by the side of her husband who passed away in 1914.
