Suddenly, as the result of a tractor accident, on Friday, May 28, 1993, Ralph Berg, of RR 1, New Hamburg.
He was born in Kitchener 71 years ago, a son of the late Frederick and Freida (nee Hammer) Berg. Ralph had worked for the City of Waterloo in the 1950s and 1960s and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, where he had been on church council and sang in the choir. Ralph was a member of the New Hamburg Band and enjoyed singing and working with stained glass as his hobbies. Lovingly remembered by one brother, Lloyd and his wife Doris of Waterloo; one brother-in-law, Milton Reibling of RR 2, Baden; four nephews, Douglas and Burton Reibling, Alan and his wife Beverly Berg, Fred and his wife JoAnn Berg; two nieces, Sharon and her husband Robert Clarke and Sherry Berg. Also remembered by eight grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by one sister, Ruby Reibling and one brother, Douglas in infancy.
Friends and relatives called at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg. Transfer will be made Monday, May 31, 1993 (today) at noon to Zion Lutheran Church for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. R. Leonard officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
