- CARTER, RALPH STUART
At the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Wednesday, August 14, 1974, suddenly, following a heart attack, of 499 Colonial Dr. in Waterloo, formerly of Guelph, age 53 years. Son of the late Roy Carter and Mina Wallace. He and his brother, Frank were involved in several businesses in Waterloo, including a motorcycle sales and service shop, a welding company and later, a truck body company, Carter Bros. Ltd. Founder and president of Superior Sanitation Services Ltd. and vice-president and director of Laidlaw Transportation Ltd. Husband of Rena "Chris" Christie. Father of Roy of Cambridge (Preston); Gary of Waterloo; Ralph and Alan at home. Brother of Grace (Mrs. Dalby Kendall) of Skidgate, BC; Frank of Waterloo; and Wallace of Arkell. Service at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. in Kitchener on Friday at 3, Interment Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo.
