Funeral service was held Friday in Erbsville for Ralph Thomas Straus, of 32 Hincks street, New Hamburg, formerly of RR3 Wellesley (Bamberg). He died January 6, 1987, at K- W hospital. He was 60.
He was the husband of Hilda Marie Giesel; father of Diane (Mrs. Walter Ferguson), of RR1 Bright, and Arlene (Mrs. John Kropf), of RR1 Tavistock; son of Mary Straus, of St. Agatha, and the late Michael Straus; brother of Gerard Straus, of Baden; Eugene Straus, of RRI St. Agatha, Jacob Straus and Sister Micheline, SSND, both of Waterloo, Sister Caroline, CSJ, St. Agatha, Sister Mildred, SSND, Cambridge, Sister Christina, CSJ. Guelph, Sister Lucy, CSJ, Hamilton, Adeline (Mrs. Don Haber), Brantford, and Lucille (Mrs. Jack Delisle), Red Deer, Alberta; also survived by three grandchildren, Cheryl, Randy and Cindy Ferguson; predeceased by one brother, Wilfred Straus, and one sister, Rita Straus.
Spring busial will be in St. Paul s Lutheran cemetery; Erbsville.
