  GINGERICH, Reta Nancy After a short battle with cancer, Reta Gingerich at the age of 74, passed away peacefully at her son Gary's home in Baden on Sunday, May 1, 2016 with her husband, two sons and daughter-in-law by her side. She resided on the Homestead farm in Baden with her devoted husband Harold Gingerich for almost 50 years. She loved and served the Lord with her whole heart. Reta was loved by many. She tirelessly exhibited the love of Christ in her caring for others, often nourishing them with lots of delicious food. She volunteered in the Tea Room at Nithview Home in New Hamburg. Reta worked and retired from Big Four Chicks (now Maple Leaf Poultry) after 18+ years of service. Loving mother of Gary Gingerich and daughter-in-law Pamela Gingerich of Baden, and Dale Gingerich of Baden. Dear Nana to her two grandchildren Ethan and Lianna Gingerich. A precious sister and sister-in-law to Beatrice and husband Jim Bender of Ailsa Craig, Arlene and husband Stephen Hoke of New Hamburg, Mary Ann Schlegel of Kemble, Eva Erb of Wellesley, Elroy and wife Hilda Gingerich of New Hamburg, Irene Schultz of Milverton, Viola and husband Jock of Bellingham, Washington, and Leola Roth of Baden. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Vera (nee Bast) Erb, brother Earl Erb, brothers-in-law Alvin Schultz and Elmer Roth. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A private burial will commence on Thursday, May 5, 2016 prior to the Memorial. The Memorial will then follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellesley Community Centre, 1000 Maple Leaf Street, Wellesley.
