  The Record, April 15, 1998 Glenn, Reta Olive (nee Sixtus) Passed away, April 11, 1998, at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. She was born in Kitchener, Ont. January 10, 1927 to William Frederick Peter Sixtus and Floretta Anne Sixtus (nee Forler). She was predeceased by her older brother, William and sister, Helen. Shirley, her younger sister resided in Kitchener. Reta married Henry Reid Glenn of Bristol, Quebec on October 28, 1949 in Kitchener, Ont. She is survived by her daughter, Aline Heather Farnell of Clifton Park, New York, children, Kimberely, Michael and her son William Reid Glenn (Alexander) of Peace River, Alberta. Reta was an accomplished seamstress, devoted homemaker, avid gardener and was a lifelong Lutheran. Reid and Reta retired in 1984 to 1151 McKenzie Drive in Duncan, B.C. Reid passed away August 3, 1990 in Duncan. Reta enjoyed the last three years at Woodgrove Manor. A memorial service will be conducted at Woodgrove Manor, 6304 Metral Drive at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, (today) by Rev. Curtis Aguirre, followed by visitation at 7:30 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 1998 from the Hope Lutheran Church, 2174 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo, B.C., with Pastor Curtis Aguirre officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made in Reta's memory to the building fund at Hope Lutheran Church, 2174 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo, B.C. V9S 3V6.
