- BOTT, Reta Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace in Fergus on Friday, August 5, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Reta (Schweitzer) Bott was the beloved wife of the late Harry Bott (2010). Dear mother of Linda and Brian Hastie, Dale and Rhonda Bott, and the late Stephen Bott (2014). Loving grandmother of Melissa (David) Lawrence; Scott (Jillian) Hastie, Jenna and Lauren Bott; and Alexandra Bott. Proud great-grandmother of Bailey and Emily Lawrence; Marshall and Maddyn Hastie. Lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Ed Bott, sister-in-law Ethel Bott, and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Martin and Isabella (Durst) Schweitzer, sisters Hilda (Arthur) Hahn and Erla (Kleon) Beisel, and brothers Elmer (Versie) and Harold (Alma) Schweitzer. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church, 60 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. James Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
