  Obituary of Reta Vera Glasser Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener. Reta was born 90 years ago and was the daughter of the late John William Koenig and the former Hilda Catherine Rahn. Reta will be reunited with her husband Harold who predeceased her in 2001. Loving mother of Kathy & Jamie McDermid, Karen & Brian Steinmann and Kim & Ron Hall. Cherished grandmother to Kira McDermid and husband Eric Wigboldus, Ali McDermid, Jessica and husband Kevin Decaire, Jalyssa and husband Ryan Brink, Jake Steinmann and friend Kelly Gunter, Lauren Hall and Dylan Hall and great-grandmother to Logan, Mason & Natalie Decaire. Reta is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law Elmer and Shirley Koenig and Glennis Schatz as well as by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Maurice Koenig and Vernon and Hannah Koenig. Reta was a long-time member of St. James Lutheran Church, Baden. At Reta's request there will be no visitation, a funeral service will take place at St. James Lutheran Church, Baden on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Fairmont Cemetery, Baden.
