- Reuben Gies
Reuben Joseph Gies of RR 1, Hanover, died Thursday at Hanover Hospital He was 63.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs George Gies, he was born in Kitchener Sept 1, 1906. He lived in the Twin Cities until four years ago when he moved to Hanover. He was retired.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lily Bordman; three daughters, Mrs, Lloyd (Dolores) Kew of Dundas Mrs. Kenneth (Patricia) Straus of Kitchener and Mrs. William (Darlene) McInnes of Hanover; two brothers Albert of RR 2, Petersburg and Edgar of Hamilton; three sisters, Mrs. Milton (Margaret) Bordman of of Waterloo, Mrs. Beatrice Campbell of Waterloo and Mrs Louis (Sylvia) Wagner Etobicoke and three grandchildren.
