  ROBERT CARL STALKIE 1930 - 2006 Born on June 4, 1930, in Pembroke, Ontario. Beloved husband and best friend of Isabel, passed away peacefully, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Loving father of Tracy and her husband, Bob McEwen, Blake and his wife Kathann and Jennifer and her husband Norman Andrew. Loving Papa to Taiya and Jenna McEwen and Evan Stalkie. Brother of Mervin and Margie Stalkie, Don and Doris Kanold, Elmer and Marilyn Stalkie and Norma Ziegler. He will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Imgard Stalkie; brother, Orren Stalkie and his wife Margaret and brother-in-law, Gerald Ziegler. Friends were invited to share their memories of Rob with his family during memorial visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Rob's life and faith will be held at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd. S., Waterloo, on Saturday, May 6, 2006 (today) at 1 p.m., the Revs. Mark Harris and Tanya Ramer officiating. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to the church hall for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. Donations in Rob's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Diabetes Association and can be arranged through the funeral home.
