  TRAKALO, Roman (Roy) Passed away on September 4, 2013 in his 102nd year. Roy was born in Sellwood, Ontario on September 30, 1910. Preceded in death by his devoted wife, Margaret (Loth), on August 27, 1990. After a long career as a tool & die maker in Michigan, Roy and Margaret retired to Kitchener in 1980 to be closer to their siblings. Dear father of Fay Wahl of Cincinnati, Ohio and Barbara Haase of Howell, Michigan, Roy was the proud grandfather of Kimberly (Leo) Mello, Clifford Wahl, Tammy (Bruce) Augspurger, Christopher (Jennifer) Learning and Paul Learning; great-grandfather of ten and great-great-grandfather of six. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by six siblings; Walter, Edward, Julius, Jean (Bihun), Amy (Totzke) and Helen (Allen). Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements will be made by the Henry Walser Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Doon Village Retirement Residence and St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, as well as Malden Park Palliative Care in Windsor, for the kind attention and care given to our dad and grandfather.
