  LAMKA, Rosetta (Rose) - Passed away, on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Rose resided at Meadowcroft Place, Kitchener and was formerly of Wellesley. Rose was born 96 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie (Lobsinger) Waechter. Beloved mother of Verna Taves of Wellesley. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sharon Wismer, Betty Taves, Cheryl Taves, John Taves and Leonard Taves. Also missed by her niece, Shirley Cybulski. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Elverne Hartung in 1992; brother, Joseph Waechter and sisters, Caroline Weber, Martha Farrell, Florence Riehl and Forentine Rogers. Rose was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg where she was a member of the ELW. Rose worked for 36 years at Langdon Hall. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Tuesday October 10, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church. A special thank you to the nursing staff on the 5th and 6th floors at St. Mary's Hospital for the compassionate and excellent care Rose received. The Record newspaper 5 Oct 2005
